The Forum at HSPH – Watch video

As part of the Andelot Series on Current Science Controversies, The Forum at the Harvard School of Public Health featured an interactive discussion with panelists Mr. Alan Court, Senior Advisor to the United Nation’s Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Malaria; Dr. Regina Rabinovich, ExxonMobil Malaria Scholar in Residence at Harvard University; and Professor Dyann Wirth, Faculty Director, Harvard Malaria Initiative on the challenges of Malaria and West Nile diseases from 12:30-1:30pm on May 1, 2013. Experts discussed a range of issues, including mosquito control (spraying), cross-border control (governance), effective surveillance techniques, allocation of limited resources, and factors that contribute to drug resistance.
